David Hayter and Japanese CONFIRMED! Let's build the Lair next!

Dear citizens,

The Whisper is most pleased... most pleased to see that the first stretch goal has been met! We can now confirm that David Hayter will have an extended role in the game, bringing much more narration and wit to the adventures through the twisted city. It is a dream come true to work with a talent like Mr. Hayter, so thank you all for making this happen. 

This stretch goal also means that the Japanese translation for the game is now confirmed, and our friends in the east will be able to get their hands into grime and brutality of the Steamdolls universe.

Next up is for us all to build The Whisper's Lair. We're fast approaching this goal, and wouldn't it just be great to have a small part of the City to call completely your own? I know I think it's great. Not only this, but once we reach the goal of 46,000EUR, we can surprise you now and also say that a Spanish version of the game will be confirmed, too.

Get your own lair, and mould it to your liking. Decide how to decorate. Pet and feed your trusty cat. Create a stoic fortress of solitude, or lavish the walls with velvet and hedonistic beauty. Items and decorations can be bought in a shop, found in the twisted halls of the demented world, along with a set of completely new quests where you investigate and loot houses abandoned by those fleeing the city. Those of you with a keen eye for aesthetics will be judged and rewarded with a title. 

So together, let's make a home for ourselves in the city, and also give our Spanish speaking friends a helping hand.

After The Whisper's Lair, what comes next? Well, dear friends, that is something quite special. You have already seen it is called "Metal Gear Vocal Reunion". That should give you some sort of idea. What is the nature of this "reunion", though? You will find out shortly. We have something very special for you.

Buenos días, Citizens,

Another stretch goal unlocked. Incredible. Now, we will all have a place to call home in the City: The Whisper's Lair stretch goal has been achieved, and will now be in the game. Even the most fiery of crazed anarchist or madmen need somewhere to relax and gather their thoughts. And of course, to also get on the nerves of their fussy/feisty feline friend. Maybe there will be other pets you can collect during the game, too? Hmm...

Also, Spanish is unlocked. It is a real pleasure to make the game available to players around the world!

With this all said and done, it's time to introduce the next stretch goal. Quite a special one, as the astute amongst you will have already observed from the stretch goals map. The "Metal Gear Vocal Reunion". Yes indeed, and we are happy to bring you exactly as we promise with this goal: not only will the legendary David Hayter be in the game, but so will Christopher Randolph, the voice of OTACON from the Metal Gear series. After so many long years, the two, finally back together again. The stoic action man, and his all-knowing confidant.

The combination of David Hayter and Christopher Randolph are legendary in video game canon. And now, their legend can continue in Steamdolls with this new stretch goal. Throughout the game, Mr. Randolph as GABRIEL will call on the "TESLA" with cryptic messages and solemn advice on surviving in the city. But he's not just doing this for the goodness of his heart, is he? What could he possibly want with The Whisper? How do their plans intersect?

Let's all surge forward to meet it.

Dear Citizens,

Christopher Randolph - the great Otacon - is now definitely reunited with the mighty Solid Snake! That's a legendary feat and it's all thanks to the support you showed during the campaign starting days. The duo are video game legends who defined video game acting for a generation. It's time they were together again.

New stretch goals reveal the dimension shift a totally new gameplay mechanic with new locations, new music and a brand new story. 

In this new extra chapter, your mind and reality will twist, as Valentina's dimension starts crossing over to reality. Fall through the void, and switch and transcend between dimensions to soar over obstacles and find new paths, previously out of reach!

And now, Let's have a Stretch Goal Preview.

Further down the road, we will also unlock a new playable character with gun based gameplay. This will shake things up a little bit, and will pack Steamdolls with even more content.

And also add an option for a new game + mode and more languages.
